My Story

Throughout my journey, I’ve encountered several moments that called for a fresh start. Embracing new chapters was exhilarating when it stemmed from my own decisions. However, there were times when life dictated the need for a reset, leaving me with little choice. A pivotal moment came in my early forties with a divorce, marking a significant new beginning filled with stress. Amidst this, I faced a layoff from my pharmaceutical job, despite a recent promotion. Reinvention became imperative, yet I struggled. Reflecting on that period, I recognize that I was too entrenched in survival mode to flourish. I accepted various unsatisfactory jobs in an attempt to rebuild, only to find myself further setback, both emotionally and financially. I was compelled to sell my home, and although my son emerged unscathed from a car accident, my vehicle was a total loss. I had hit rock bottom.

As time progressed, I began to reconstruct my life. It wasn’t an overnight transformation; I needed to transition from merely surviving to truly thriving. I obtained my real estate license and joined a startup that initially seemed promising. They supported my pursuit of a mortgage loan originator license, and I eagerly anticipated future promotions that were promised but never materialized. Following multiple layoffs, increased responsibilities without proper compensation, and daily stress, I found myself in a state of misery. The toxic work environment took a toll on my health and personal relationships. This job was a dead end, not a path to my aspirations. Eventually, I reached a breaking point and resigned. I was exhausted from exerting so much effort for someone else’s gain, especially without any financial recognition over two years.

Emboldened by the realization that I could channel my hard work into my own ventures, I embraced a new beginning. I revived The Woman Warrior, a project born during my divorce, with a renewed purpose: to support others navigating their own restarts. You’re not alone in this journey. Prior to leaving my job, I had explored other opportunities that would allow me to work remotely, with the freedom and potential for unlimited earnings. My aim is to share insights that resonated with me, in hopes of aiding someone else. Perhaps you’re seeking a community for connection and inspiration. That’s what I aspire to provide. So, I’m delighted you’re here. Welcome to my wolf pack. The Woman Warrior is dedicated to empowering, uplifting, and assisting you in transitioning from survival to a life of thriving.
